Public and Private Resources
Data will be publicly accessible based on their criticality and confidentiality.
Public resources can be accessed by anyone who knows the resource url. For example, when you visit sites you will find all the countries where MercadoLibre is operating and, if you know the user ID, you will be able to access publicly shared data, which are the same as those viewed when you navigate the site: nickname, registration date, country, city, etc.
Some data need to remain hidden for most people; therefore, to access them you need to follow the authentication flow and request permission from owner users in order to view and change their data, as well as to take any action on their behalf.
